Central European Tour

During our Budapest city tour, you will see traces of the Ottoman Empire in the city, which remained under Ottoman rule for approximately 150 years. Budapest, which became the capital of Hungary on November 17, 1873, with the unification of Buda and Pest, will be explored with panoramic views of Heroes' Square, Andrassy and Rakoczi Streets, the Opera and Synagogue Buildings, the Parliament Building (a symbol of Budapest, built between 1884 and 1904 with 700 rooms), the Danube River and its banks, Erszebet Bridge, Fisherman's Bastion, Chain Bridge, the Castle and Matthias Church, Citadel, and the Statue of Liberty. Afterwards, we will visit the magnificent Visegrad, a medieval castle and hunting lodge. During this tour, you will have a panoramic view of Visegrad Castle. We will also visit Esztergom Cathedral and the remains of the Ottoman-era castle. Finally, we will go to the town of Szentendre for shopping. In Szentendre, the town of artists and craftsmen in Hungary, you can shop for handcrafted tablecloths, crystal, porcelain products, souvenirs, and much more, and spend time in one of the cafes overlooking the Danube River. Transfer to Budapest at the time informed by the guide. In the evening, guests who wish can participate in an optional Danube River cruise organized by their guide, offering the opportunity to admire Budapest, the pearl of Europe, from the river and enjoy drinks while listening to the history of its buildings.
